St. Michael Albertville Girls Swim & Dive Team recently competed in the section 8AA section finals.
The Lady Knights won their fourth consecutive Section 8AA title and the team was to be headed to the State Meet Nov. 17 an 18.
The following individuals and relay teams qualified for the State Meet:
The relay team of Kelsey Kocon, Emma Lezer, Jenna Kocon and Jordyn Schnell in the 200 yard medley relay with a first place time of 1:46.87 and set a new school, pool, and Section 8AA record.
Ashton Hobza in the 200 yard freestyle with a second place time of 1:59.23.
Kelsey Kocon in the 200 individual medley with a second place time of 2:13.66.
Emma Lezer in the 100 yard butterfly with a first place time of 56.02 and set a new school, pool, and Section 8AA record.
The relay team of Maddie Gallagher, Ashton Hobza, Jordyn Schnell and Emma Lezer in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a first place time of 1:39.27.
Kelsey Kocon in the 100 yard backstroke with a first place time of 59.13.
Emma Lezer in the 100 yard breaststroke with a first place time of 1:02.50 and set a new school, pool, and Section 8AA record.
The relay team of Maddie Gallagher, Jenna Kocon, Kelsey Kocon, and Ashton Hobza in the 400 yard freestyle relay with a second place time of 3:39.58.
