STMA fell 0-7 to Delano, coming closest to victory in first and third team doubles, where they lost in third set tiebreakers. Delano qualified for state by defeating Wayzata in the section final match.

As a team, the Knights performed very well, compiling a record of 17-7 under first-year head coach Ryan Antony.

“I am very proud of my team this year,” Antony said.

Six Knights represented the team in the individual section tournament; Ana Getz and Cory Eull in singles; Jolene Duda, Kiana Eystad, Alli Hinz and Rachel Jenkins in doubles.

Eull, Getz, Eystad and Duda all won in the first round. Getz got as far as the third round, which was the best individual finish for the Knights.
