Newcomers Hollee Saville and Kari Dwinnell were elected to the St. Michael-Albertville School Board, along with incumbent Drew Scherber.
Saville won the most votes at 5,102, or 23 percent, followed by Dwinnell with 4,374 votes and Scherber with 4,363. Not elected was longtime incumbent Carol Steffens, who finished with 3,301 votes. Challengers Tom Polinceusz, Brian Reinbold and Joan Keiner rounded out the votes, with Polinceusz receiving 2,073 votes, Reinbold with 2,052, and Keiner with 1,242.
The candidates would have had to stay up very late to hear they won, as St. Michael’s Precinct 1A was the last in the county to report its results, after 3 a.m.
