The Bison took the first set 25-18 and the second set 25-19. STMA had its chances to extend the game, but once again fell short in the third set as Buffalo scored the final point in a 26-24 result. Kari Zumach had 18 kills to lead the Bison.
“We had a tough time serving, we had a tough time passing, we were really quiet on the court,” head coach Jill Anderson said, adding that the team did not adjust when it needed to do so.
