The Saints have the top record in the Central Ridge league to start the 2016 baseball season.
St. Michael’s most recent games came against the Ramsey Renegades, in which the Saints won 3-1 as well as a victory against the Elrosa Saints in the Miller High Life tournament in Arlington. The Saints won another game before bowing out of the tournament.

Aaron Sperl pitched a complete game shutout as the Saints defeated Elrosa 2-0 in the opening round of the Miller High Life tourney.
Jaylen Hakes and Levi Falde drove in the only two runs of the game for either side in the fifth inning.
Also in the tournament, St. Michael defeated Stark 11-0 before losing to Ft. Ripley.
The Saints return to Central League action against the Monticello Pole Cats on the road on Friday. Each of the first two meetings between the two teams came down to a single run (4-3 in the season opener, 5-4 on June 10).
